Mexico, Dec. 2 (Notimex).- The Mexican airline Volaris announced its new international route between the city of Monterrey in Nuevo León and Denver, Colorado in the United States, which will have two weekly flights.
According to the airline, the new route emerged because both destinations have characteristics that make them relevant to travelers, since Monterrey is the industrial capital of Mexico, being home to large companies and businesses.
While Denver is considered a beta city, i.e., it is an important benchmark in economic, sustainability, logistics and public policy issues worldwide, it said in a statement.
The Denver International Airport director, Kim Day, said that Volaris has contributed to the growth of international passenger traffic in Denver since 2012.
She added that by now it is the only airline operating directly and non-stop from Denver to the three largest cities in Mexico.
