Xalapa, Ver., Mexico, Nov. 9 (Notimex).- The Ministry of Tourism and Culture (Sectur, for its acronym in Spanish) of Veracruz informed that the next 11, 12 and 13 of this month, the International Festival of Tissue Paper Balloons will be held in the Magic Town of Zozocolco de Hidalgo.
The event, which is held every year in the esplanade of the Church of San Miguel Arcángel of that town, will gather more than 20 thousand people who will enjoy the spectacle of balloons up to 30 meters high made with tissue paper by children and young people.
In a statement, the state government explained that the celebration has positioned itself as one of the most important tourist proposals in Veracruz, not only for the colorful figures, but also for spreading and preserving the history, tradition and culture that enclose the streets of the municipality.
In addition to this activity, Zozocolco is full of color and flavor as the houses are dressed in palm ornaments, in addition to delicious typical dishes.
In addition to the balloon exhibitions, the contest involving balloon makers from Veracruz and natural wealth, the entity has become a must stop to live and feel the tradition of All Saints in Veracruz.
