Mexico, Jul. 20 (Notimex) .- Marriott International announced the construction of a new hotel under the Courtyard brand by Marriott in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, as well as the recent opening of a hotel in Hermosillo, Sonora, with which consolidates its presence in Mexico.
"The Courtyard brand, which keeps looking for recognition in the Mexican market, has been a pioneer in the category of business," the company president for the Caribbean and Latin America, Tim Sheldon said.
The construction of the hotel in Mazatlan will feature 200 rooms and it is scheduled to be open by 2019, while the hotel in Hermosillo, was recently opened, and has 133 rooms and a close location to the most famous attractions of the city.
According to a statement, the Marriott International portfolio in Mexico is now comprised by 38 properties, 16 of which are under the Courtyard brand by Marriott.
