Coahuila boosts infrastructure to attract tourism in dams

Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, May 23 (Notimex).- In order to increase the tourism rate in Coahuila, state authorities began operations of various infrastructure constructions in the dam “Venustiano Carranza”, in the locality of Juárez.

The state government informed that with the security they have, various events such as the National Sport Fishing Tournament, or the Governor's Cup, are carried out, which was held from May 21 to 22, with an increase in the number of attendance.

The most important constructions are an access road, walkways, terraces, the constructions of palm roofs with grills, benches, parking area.

Besides ornamental gardens and trees, unit bathrooms for men and women, outdoor theaters, mesh perimeter for safety and general lighting of the facility.

Also the recent construction of a Lighthouse in the Dam "Don Martin", which has increased the tourism in this locality.

It was pointed out that thanks to these infrastructure constructions, the Dam “Venustiano Carranza” or “Don Martín” have become Tourist Attention Centers of great importance.

The mayor of Juarez, Carlos Alberto Chacon, and the representative of the Association "El Faro de Don Martin, Sergio Humberto Aguirre Dávila, agreed that in addition to the new infrastructure, constant security in this tourist spot, has been of great importance to the visitors.
